From: Rachelle MIller [pcm@teleport.com] Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2001 9:16 PM Subject: Update on Peter Thank you all for your support and prayers. The CT scan went off without a hitch and to God's glory, Peter's lymph system looks clear! There are a couple of funny looking spots on his liver the doctor is pretty convinced are hemangiomas...benign blood vessel clusters. He's scheduled for an MRI in 2 weeks to take a closer look, but things are definitely more upbeat. Also, the doctor checked out a CT scan Peter had less than 2 years ago which showed no evidence of the cancer in his bladder which indicates this is a relatively new problem. Surgery is still the most likely outcome with a probable 2nd opinion with another urologist taking place as soon as we get all of the lab results and tests out of the way. We still don't know about chemo as pre-surgery chemo is still a viable treatment. To be honest, we won't know for sure about the lymph system until the pathology report comes back post surgery, but this is still excellent news. Please keep us in your prayers for continued good reports, good health, patience (both of us want to "get on with it!"), and courage as we steer a course through the unknown. Many hugs to you all, Peter and Rachelle
