From: Rachelle MIller [pcm@teleport.com] Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2001 6:42 PM Subject: Next Update on Peter Things have been relatively normal here in the Miller house. Peter has gone back to work after a Labor Day shutdown week, Amber and Reba are back in their routines, and Calvin has started back to school. Praise God for routine as it helps to keep one's hands and mind busy. Peter's MRI has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Friday. They want to take a closer look at a couple of spots on his liver. The doctor thinks they are hemangiomas, tangles of blood vessels, which are quite common in normal livers. Please pray that his hunch is correct. After the MRI we will see Dr. Keane, Peter's urologist, for a preliminary report on the MRI, and then meet with the oncologist to see about chemotherapy. Again we are asking for prayer for courage and strength to face the next hurdles, and for God's will to be done in Peter's life. Please pray for continued good health for Rachelle and the children, and for an increase in patience for all of us as we face the unknown. Also, please pray for our friend, Earl, who just found that he, too, has abnormalities in his bladder. He is scheduled for a biopsy/surgery next week. We are asking for God to guard him during his surgery, for keen eyes and steady hands for the doctors, and for a good report from the pathologist. We'll let you know how Peter's appointment goes tomorrow. Thank you for your faithfulness and friendship. God's blessings on all of you. Peter and Rachelle
