Peter's chemo was postponed today because his white blood count was too low. Actually, the count was borderline, but one of the "factors" was too low. He's been rescheduled for Monday. Please pray that his blood count comes up to snuff and that he can avoid any infections in the meantime. The switch to Monday will be "temporarily permanent". Having chemo on Mondays adds a new challenge as it will probably mean he will have to miss more work. We are praying he will be able to work from home and not have to use flex time (vacation/sick time) so early in his treatment. Ah, the challenges we face! But, our God is gracious and we have had so many blessings thorough all of this. We met a man today who was starting chemo...his meds are nearly the same as Peter's and we were able to give him some first hand experiences...and, really, they were all pretty positive! The nurses were very supportive of us in our frustration today, and that helped. All in all, this "pause" will be a good thing. Well, I must be off to help Calvin finish packing for this weekend. May God's blessing rain on you all... Hugs, Rachelle
