Subject: Here we go again!

Dear friends,

Please keep my family and me in your thoughts and prayers.  I'm heading
for Wisconsin tomorrow afternoon to be with my mom.  The doctors are
fairly confident she is having a recurrance of her breast cancer and she
is scheduled for a biopsy of her liver on Wednesday.  Needless to say,
she and Dad are very frightened and I feel I need to be with them the
next couple of weeks as the doctors make plans for her treatment.

Peter and Calvin are fairly stable, but they are a little shaky about
handling everything on their own.  I know they'll be fine, but this is
the first time either of them has had to deal with their "maintenance"
alone!  Maybe it's time for them to spread their wings, but I have to
admit I'm torn between my duties as wife, mother, and daughter.  We can
all use a little encouragement.  OK, make that a LOT of encouragement.

I'll be home again July 12.  Yes, Kristy and Doreen, I'm going by
Amtrak!  But, I did arrange for a sleeper for the way there.  (Not one
available for the trip home!)

Please pass the news on.  My computer crashed (again!) and I haven't
managed to get everyone back on list yet.  I won't be able to answer
emails at this address until I get home in a couple of weeks, so please
