The surgery went well.

The surgery went well. Although it lasted some 11 hours and there was a bit of blood loss.
We talked to Mike this morning and he in good spirits.

We hope and pray that after over four years of pain and suffering Mike will quickly recover and be able to resume a normal healthy life.
It is interesting that several years ago while at Truman State (Missouri) Mike developed computer software for cancer research.

Monday Mikejr went to the Mayo Clinic for a biopsy.

Monday Mikejr went to the Mayo Clinic for a biopsy. Yesterday the biopsy report came back.

Mikejr http://www2.truman.edu/~mdm162/ has a grade 1 Chondrosarcoma http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chondrosarcoma which is a type of cancer of the bone.

He is scheduled for surgery on Friday. ::pray
