Hi Mike,

Friday we just took it easy, and celebrated Shabbat, the sabbath, with a dinner and 9 invited guests. It was a colorful evening with all kinds of biblical type characters there, some really unique people. I was pretty quiet though and just listening and watching what goes on.

Saturday, i went to the old walled city and to the Tower of David museum, which i never was able to go to before when it was open. A really interesting place showing the whole history of Jerusalem, in detail. Then i walked by myself all the way around by the walls to the wailing wall, the western wall, to pray there. Other times when i've been there, i just had a real heaviness and burdened heart, this time i felt great in my heart, like a real victory in the spirit had already come.

We went to a local Hebrew congregation in the evening, it had beautiful worship, a new young group. I went up for prayer, for the fiery young lions of Judah to pray for me and my health. Then we went out to Ben Yehudah Street for ice cream, snacks and a little shopping.
I stopped in oy vey! McDonald's and was so surprised to see their jewish menu--they had Mc'kabobs instead of shish kabobs! I laughed and thought it was so cute and funny, and the people working there thought i was the nutty one because i thought it was entertaining and funny! They just thought it was normal. Oh well.

Anyways, it was a full day and i'm going to go to sleep soon. It's like 10pm, and i'm really tired. Tomorrow I go back to Livnot for the rest of the week, to live and to work. Monday, Tuesday, Weds I have my main appointments--pray for me and my success with them. Also, the lawyer is going to try to fit in an Endocrinologist meeting, I hope.
Pray for me, PLEASE! Thanks a lot.
We need a real good report and a real Godly finale!
Thanks a lot. I sure hope and pray all is well with you!
I love you,

Shari

hi ya Mike & David!
i sure love you!

Hope all is going well for you two, too.
I'm in Jerusalem doing a bunch of stuff and having a lot of fun doing it!
I'm actually feeling better. Feeling younger and more alive.
Yesterday, i got baptized in the Jordan river right at the border of the country of Jordan--its historically, also where the jews crossed over into the promised land, and where Elijah passed his mantle to Elisha; and its also where Moses stood on Mt. Nebo and GOD showed him the panorama of the promised land, the length and breadth of it.
What a strategic place i was baptized in!
Let me know how its going for you, two.

Love you alot!

Glenna,
we went back to the Jericho crossing with the IDF soldiers today. It was literally a stone's toss from Jordan. It was an awesome time of worship with the Palestinian Arab Christians, the IDF soldiers, the Christian pilgrims, the believers, and jewish believers, too.

I got so inspired, the last minute, without warning, i went into the Jordan for baptism and declaration--Heaven responded!
I am getting restored in my life!
All the believers said that the atmosphere changed when i went in the Jordan with all my clothes and shoes, etc., and went under the waters and came up.
Awesome!
Then an abscess broke out in my tooth, and i had to go to the dentist in the afternoon, and have it lanced, and get antibiotics, etc. Pray that the tooth wont have to be pulled, but be miraculously healed please. It flawed up out of nowhere.
We went out to eat at a locals cafe--it was great-lentil soup and bagels with lox! My favorites!

Then we went to the 24/7 house of prayer-Succat Hallel. It was off the charts, way up there worship! Out of this world! I loved it! Then they did communion! Wow! Baptism & communion all in one day!
What fun! I closed my eyes and it seemed like only a few minutes and the worship watch was over!
Did i tell you that i'm staying at the ETH house of Peace for the shabbat weekends--this week i started staying there on Weds, because Livnot was full with a whole group. GOD is so gracious to allow me the great privilege of staying in Gwen Shaw's personal room! Can you believe that??!!
What a trip this is! The number is 011-02-672-0628.
Hope all is well with you.
All is well with me for the first time in a very long time!
I think I'm getting healed.
blessings,

Shari

Hi Michael,

thanks for emailing me!
I'm praying for you and our boys!!!
I'm praying that when we get back together again that you and I can become really close, and that we can fulfill our destiny together.
GOD is working in my life REALLY BIG once again and is healing me greatly and causing me to come alive again--really alive again!
I was dancing ALOT on my foot yesterday--and it felt great. I have had no pain at all--GOD is truly working to quicken me.
Yesterday i was working at the Orthodox Jewish soup kitchen as part of my work service, and realized that these very religious jews really accept me very well as a jew, and are very magnetized to the spirit of GOD in me! Its very powerful!
I am having alot of fun! Alot! With the jews, the Christians and the arabs!

GOD is setting up all kinds of divine appointments--I'm going to try to write down all that's transpired so far in the form of a journal.
Pray for me, please.

Last nite i went back to Jericho for a meeting and ended up praying for an arab man who was about 30-40 yrs old who had never heard before and never spoke---GOD moving so mightily thru me, like when i was in INDIA, and he was delivered and restored and heard and even spoke for the very first time in his life! He first said"praise the LORD! Then he said to the LORD, "thank you!" then he said to me "salim" in arabic, which is the same as "shalom--peace".REALLY awesome! It really shook me up in a good way! Really faith-building!It made me like i was on fire and exploding from the inside out!

I continue to walk in life, moment by moment, with all kinds of divine appointments, one after another, and feel like I am in GOD's most perfect Will!
I have such peace like as if i have found my place in life, like my "eternal niche", it's such perfect peace--I feel so good!
I am praying for you all too!
Obviously, GOD has a real purpose for me to be here!
I want to follow GOD with all my life, and stay in his perfect peace, HIS perfect spirit!
I am so hoping that you & I can find a way in GOD, TOGETHER, and that somehow, by the leading of GOD, that we can go forth in life, TOGETHER! That we can come to an understanding thru GOD's spirit of revelation, so that we can see eye to eye, somehow, and be on the same page, somehow, and come into godly agreement together. This would be so great--it would be the fulfillment of life, to me!
I want to go forth with you! Will you pray about going forth with me?
I dont want to move you out of your environment, or your comfort zone--I'm not trying to get you, or make you move to Israel, or anything like that--but i, myself, want to go forth with my jewish heritage and try to establish myself in citizenship and residency in this land of my forefathers, that causes me to feel so much at home(finally)!..but only to establish myself, so that i can go back and forth, between Israel and the US.
Can you please pray about this--whether it would be ok with you.
Perhaps, at first, all i would do is establish my rights there, in Israel, and live in the US, and it wouldn't affect anything...i just want to do what GOD wants me to do.
I gotta go...
I'll talk with you later!
I LOVE you, Mike!

your wife,
Shari

Hi Michael!

Glenna--you are missing the most off the charts strategic intercession/move of GOD that i have ever witnessed--among the arabs in Jericho & Bethlehem and among the orthodox, too bad!
The day after tomorrow i'm going to ancient SHILOH, and next week to the NORTH front with the jewish agency, to Kiryat Shimona, Safat, etc.
to practically minister to the orthodox people, also back to Jericho--GOD opens doors!

I'm trying to rest up as much as i can in between, because its exhausting!

LOVE you, Michael!

It has been five months since Shari's accident where she broke her left ankle. As some of you may know the foot almost fell off. Thankfully her foot was saved and has been healing quite well. For the past month Shari has been able to walk unassisted.

Five weeks ago was the shoulder surgery. Although the doctor is pleased with the results, he indicated that full restoration of the shoulder could take up to one year.

Although this good, and we thank God for healing, it has been five months since the accident. There has been considerable physical, and emotional pain enduring through all of this, from being wounded doing missions for our Lord. It does not seem fair, as we do not understand the full purposes God has in all of this.

I once again ask that you keep Shari and I in your prayers as she is going through all of this. It has not been easy for us and it has been quite a trial of faith. Feel free to call to encourage her. We have appreciated all of the prayers, cards, calls, and visits.

What has the Gospel cost you? This accident nearly cost Shari her life. But more than that the accident has brought out some of the deepest pain asking why and what does the Lord have in store.

Wednesday, August 24, 2005

Yesterday, August 23, Shari underwent shoulder surgery. The surgery was done as an outpatient and went well. However, today she is in excruciating pain despite the powerful pain medication. PLEASE PRAY for the pain to cease and for her complete healing.

When Shari fell and broke her ankle in Jerusalem she ended up injuring her shoulder.

For the past month Shari has been able to get around by herself with the help of the walker. She has been able to drive, go swimming, and to the store. (She really liked riding the motorized shopping cart.) On Monday the day before the surgery, Shari took back the walker, and walked in her regular shoes for the first time since the accident.

Michael

Thank God for the following miracles:

1. It was a miracle that Shari did not bleed to death. At the time of the accident some 60+ people gathered around and started praying. Jews, and Arabs. One of them a Jew was an emergency medic, who jumped in and stopped the bleeding.
2. It was a miracle that they saved her foot and that it did not have any infection. The accident happened on the streets of Jerusalem. She was wearing sandals at the time.
3. It was a miracle that she did not hit her head when she fell. Instead she landed on her shoulder. A month after the initial accident the doctors here did an MRI and determined that surgery is needed to repair the shoulder. We are praying that God does another miracle to heal her shoulder without surgery.
4. It was a miracle that the Lord provided a FIRST CLASS ticket from Tel Aviv to Chicago ten days after the accident.
5. It is a miracle how well my Shari's ankle is healing. Last month ago she went to the local orthopedic specialist for check-up. The doctor was amazed how well the ankle is healing.
